If you don't know already the University of Oklahoma is my favorite college since I attended for a year and a half. I consider myself a die hard OU football and basketball fan that lives on the west coast and can only view a few games a year. Once I heard that OU would be playing UCONN in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, AZ I had to figure out a way that I could go.
On Friday afternoon I heard Sara on the phone with Macy and when she got off the phone she said that Steve, Macy and Brooke (Macy's friend) were going to drive out to the Fiesta Bowl from Oklahoma. I thought there was no way they would make it since they were a good 20 hours away and the game was the next night. Once I confirmed this with Steve (Macy and Sara aren't always so reliable) over the phone I looked for tickets on Craigslist and the first post that popped up was for 4 tickets together. This Doctor had 4 seats 7 rows up from the field valued at $235 each and he sold them to us for $50 each! I asked Sara's Uncle Mike to pick them up since I was still in LA and the tickets were in the Phoenix area and he was gracious enough to do so. I left for Phoenix on Saturday morning and drove back to LA on Sunday morning. It was a lot of driving, but totally worth it! Here's some great pictures below....
